Frequently Asked Questions

How do law enforcement agencies and municipalities buy from Flasher Fleet Solutions?

Three ways today: a direct purchase order or quote (tell us the year, make, and model, or bring us the vehicle), through our leasing partners Enterprise and Mobile Lease, or via SAM.gov. We can also help source the vehicle itself, including pre-wired PPVs that make installs faster and cleaner.

What slows a government vehicle purchase down?

Usually two things: the approval chain and the funding source. County purchases typically run through the sheriff and chief deputy with funding approved by Commissioners Court; city purchases run through a fleet manager and city council. Grant-funded builds run on the grant's own 60-to-90-day timeline, and some counties operate on fixed pay cycles regardless. We build once a signed PO is in hand, so knowing who signs off and where the money comes from is what keeps a project moving.

What should we have ready before contacting you?

The vehicle's year, make, and model, a rough sense of what you want the vehicle to do (we'll handle the technical spec), and clarity on who signs off and how the purchase is funded. From there our team walks you through the options.

What makes a build "field-ready" before it leaves the shop?

Every joint is soldered rather than crimped, wiring is double heat-shrunk, loomed, and grommeted, and partitions are checked for secure mounting every time. Each vehicle passes a phased 40-to-50-point quality control checklist, a sound check, and a sustained light test of roughly four hours before the shop foreman signs it out. Nothing leaves without inspection, and the work carries a one-year guarantee.

Can you handle graphics and wraps for agency vehicles too?

Yes. The Wrap Guys is our in-house wraps division, so lighting, equipment, and graphics can run under one purchase order instead of bouncing between vendors. Wrap production for agency vehicles currently runs through our Victoria facility.
